Death Doula

Death doulas are non-medical professionals who provide holistic emotional, spiritual, and practical support to people who are dying and their families. We act as companions to ease the final transition, help with planning, provide respite for caregivers, and ensure wishes are honored.

Who I work with

I work with people who have just been given a terminal diagnosis, and people who are completely healthy. I work with people who are young and people who are old. Ideally, we should all have our end-of-life documents filled out and notarized , well in advance of our death, but that doesn’t always happen. No matter your situation, I can help you navigate it with confidence and clarity.

Why a death doula?

One of the hardest parts of all of this is how difficult it can be to talk about. When death enters the picture, emotions tend to rise quickly. Fear, grief, and uncertainty can make it hard for families and friends to stay grounded. Sometimes, even bringing it up can feel like too much.

That’s why having someone outside of that immediate circle can matter so much. I offer a space where you can speak freely—where nothing is too heavy, too strange, or too uncomfortable to say out loud. There’s no judgment here, and no need to protect anyone else’s feelings. Just honesty, at your own pace.

Working with me

I’ve always been drawn to the big questions about death, what comes after, and what makes a life feel meaningful. I don’t come with a fixed set of beliefs, and I won’t place any on you. Whether your perspective is spiritual, religious, uncertain, or still forming, I’m here to meet you in it. I want to understand what matters to you, what brings you comfort, and what feels true in your own experience.

You don’t have to filter anything. Your beliefs, your identity, your story—all of you is welcome here. I mean that. I want the whole picture, not just the easy parts.

This work, to me, is about presence. About making sure that, even in one of life’s most vulnerable moments, you are not alone.
